Multiple supply chain alignment

Empirical evidence suggests that there are a limited
number ( normally 3 or 4) of ‘dominant buying
behaviours for any given product or service category.
If this is so, then it leads to the notion of an equivalent
number of ‘supply chains’ to service these
different behaviours.
